Day 01: London – Lake District – Glasgow – City Tour (720kms)

This morning meet your tour director and commence your journey towards Lake District. The Lake District is England’s largest National Park and is famous for its breath-taking scenery, abundant wildlife and cultural heritage. After lunch, take a boat cruise on one of the lakes. Continue your journey further north of the UK and arrive at the electrifying financial capital of Scotland- Glasgow.

Day 02: Loch Lomond – Glencoe – Scottish Whisky Distillery -Nevis Range – Spean Bridge – Lochness – Inverness (320kms)

After breakfast, visit the famous Loch Lomond & Trossachs national park. Admire the breath-taking views and understand the mysteries which lie beneath this famous national park. Continuing your journey, drive along the chilling surroundings of Glencoe, well known for its tragic atrocities which took place in 1692. Stop for a brief photo stop (If time permits). Continuing your journey through the Grampian Mountains, arrive at Nevis Range, home to the largest mountain in the UK. Experience a cable car ride on Nevis Range, Britain’s only mountain gondola cable car. After lunch depart Nevis Range, and drive to Spean Bridge for a photo opportunity of Ben Nevis and the statue in the memory of the commando who died in the second World War. Later, visit the scenic Loch Ness, home to the famous legendary Loch Ness Monster – Nessie. Continue your journey towards Inverness and see the romantic ruins of Urquhart castle (photo stop only).

Day 03: Isle of Skye – Eilean Donan Castle – Potree (450kms)

This morning we head towards Eilean Donan Castle (from outside); one of Scotland’s most photographed castles situated on its own Island. We later continue our journey over the Sky Bridge to Isle of Skye. Drive to the capital of Skye, a small harbour village of Potree. Later drive along to visit various points of interest in Skye such as Kilt Rock for amazing coastal views, take a short walk at Lealt Falls and admire the Old Man of Storr. After spending the afternoon exploring Skye and admiring the stunning scenery, we will stop at Strome Viewpoint for photos of Loch Carron on our return journey to Inverness.

Day 04: Cairngorm National Park – Whiskey Trail – Bow Fiddle Rock – Fraserburgh – Aberdeen (330kms)

Depart hotel for Aviemore, a beautiful town located in the Cairngorms National Park. Here, experiences the scenery of the Cairngorm Mountain. Continue your journey along the famous Malt Whiskey Trail as you pass through various numbers of distilleries. Drive along the scenic seaside town of the north coastal route in Scotland. Enjoy a photo stop at the Bow Fiddle Rock and the seaside town of Fraserburgh. Later head towards Aberdeen for an orientation walking tour. View the Marischal College – 2nd largest granite building in the World, Tolbooth Museum (from outside), Sheriff Court, Mercat Cross and much more. Aberdeen is famous for its granite stone that is used to build the London’s house of parliament, Waterloo Bridge and The Thames Embarkment.

Day 05: Dundee – Forth Bridge – Edinburgh Castle (290kms)

Depart hotel and continue your journey towards the town of Dundee. On arrival into Dundee have an orientation walking tour to view the famous RRS Discovery wooden ship (from outside), visit the V&A Dundee Museum. Walk along the promenade of River Tay to view the HMS Unicorn (from outside) and much more. After lunch we continue our journey crossing over the Forth Bridge to Edinburgh. We visit the Edinburgh castle, built on a volcanic rock, admire the beautiful views and structures of the castle from inside. Catch a glimpse of the Scottish Crown Jewels and understand the historical importance of the Scottish democracy. Descend on Castle Hill and walk along the cobbled Royal Mile, seeing St. Giles Cathedral and its crown shaped spire. Enjoy the sound of bagpipes as you walk along the Royal Mile, and don’t forget to buy your very own Scottish Kilt. Later continue for an orientation tour, where you see the famous Calton hill and Holyrood Palace from outside.

Day 06: Stirling Castle – Wallace Monument – Battle of Bannockburn – Gretna Green – London (680kms)

This morning we have a photo stop to view Stirling castle (from outside), one of Scotland’s grandest castles due to its imposing position and impressive architecture that sits on its high volcanic rock. Later view the National Wallace Monument tower (from outside), a national landmark where visitors discover the life legacy of the patriot Sir William Wallace. Later visit the visitor centre at Battle of Bannockburn field where one of the King of Scots, Robert the Bruce, faced King Edward II fought battles for the freedom of Scotland. Take a picture with his statue and learn more form the visitor centre. Later Late morning, head towards Gretna Green, where you will find The Old Blacksmith’s Shop. Famous for its runaway weddings, explore the blacksmith shop where weddings have been conducted for many centuries (if time permits). After lunch, head south towards London. You proceed towards your destination. Your tour ends here and bid farewell to all friends you have made on the tour.
